SUM Brand + Design is an established creative services agency with clients in the insurance, financial services, health promotion and not-for-profit sectors.
As a knowledgeable, engaging and proven sales professional, you will be SUM’s chief evangelist in the Toronto market.
You will be responsible for everything from defining the marketplace to account strategies, business development, and direct sales. You will bring a hands-on approach to establishing and growing new markets for our products and services.
Requirements of Role
- Sell our award-winning team and outstanding creative and technical solutions
- Strengths in building external relationships
- Develop a focused list of client candidates
- Achieve established revenue goals as part of an MBO program
- Manage all aspects of new client development and sales
- Execute sales transactions; participate in negotiations
- Timely and accurate business reporting
- Monitor and manage customer satisfaction
- Set and achieve sales targets, focusing on top line client growth
- Devise new account strategies with an emphasis on bridging to major opportunities
- Establish and foster relationships with channel partners
Desired Qualifications
- Must have experience in selling creative services or related industry experience, with an emphasis on web-technology solutions
- Understanding of strategic selling process - demonstrated ability to close business
- Strong leadership skills, motivated, self-starting, knowledgeable, strategic thinker
- A record of strong performance in revenue generation, consistently exceeding goals
- Executive level selling within the F5000
- A history of developing and maintaining a high level of on-going customer satisfaction
- Demonstrated experience at new account development or large account management
- Experience in cooperative selling through alternate channels
Skills
- Comfortable with both cold calling and networking
- Experience using sales management tools effectively such as Sugar CRM
- Strong and proven interpersonal skills. Customers reach out to you as you use their time wisely and ensure your customers success
- Technically oriented; comfortable working in the industry where technology advances daily
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communications skills strong ability to effectively represent us in various industry forums.
- Polish and professionalism in delivering presentations to executive groups, customizing to suit the audience.
- Confidence and ability to interface professionally with a wide spectrum of customers including C level executives
- Proven relationship management and negotiation skills
- Highly professional and ethical
- Strong computer skills, including Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong decision making skills and excellent judgment
